For the past month and a half I have been working with Rich Kearns to capture this surreal angle of a back flip on a dirt bike. It took Rich and me three different shooting sessions to make it happen. This shot is by far the most challenging and nerve racking I have completed to date. My original mount for the camera was all wrong. It was too heavy and bulky, which caused the camera to move and Rich feel slightly off balance while flipping. The last thing I wanted to do was cause Rich to go down or trash my Canon 5D MarkII. Read more…
The final California stop of the Supercross Series in Anaheim, CA went pink to raise money to find a cure for breast cancer. Everyone from the races to the track officials all wore pink to show their support. Lots of money was raised, including $20,000, which was presented to Shasta Johnson, a breast cancer survivor, who was responsible for putting together this great day. Read more…
Superbowl…super late

What a fun time I had at Uncle Ron’s Superbowl Extravaganza last weekend. After all the fun times I had last year, there was no way I was missing the party this year. Last year turned out to be really special, because it was the last day I got to spend with Jeremy Lusk. Never pass up a chance to have a good time.
